Ex senator fugitive in the Philippines captured

Alas former senator Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan, who has been in hiding for almost 9 months after he was accused for allegedly planning a failed coup plot on February 24 against President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, has been captured in a posh subdivision in Quezon City in the Philippines. Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan had evaded a nationwide manhunt for nine months, forcing a frustrated police leadership to offer P5-million ($100,000) bounty on his head. Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan was also the mastermind of the coup d' etat during the presidency of Corazon Aquino.
