Youtube deletes Japanese unauthorized clips

Is this the start of the downfall of YouTube? It has removed at least thirty thousand unauthorized video at the request of a host of Japanese television, movie and music companies. The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers said YouTube had removed a total of 29,549 files including footage from Japanese television shows, video clips and promotion videos. The media firms are planning to submit a formal request to YouTube for the site to take responsibility and action to screen video files before allowing them to be uploaded, as well as to remove unauthorized products.
