World's Oldest Competitive Gamer Dies
Doris Self was only 54 years old when she was listed on the Guinness Book of World Records. She was the the oldest person up to that time to capture a video game world title. Doris Self accumulated a 1,112,300 points on the classic arcade game Q*Bert during Twin Galaxies' 1983 Video Game Masters Tournament, that tournament was conducted for the Guinness. Doris Self passes away at the age of 81. She died with honors in the arcade gaming history, she will never be forgotten.
