Peugeot in China

China's auto market is continuing to expand but competitive pressures will force down profitability further and likely lead to consolidation within the industry. Peugeot Citroen will construct a massive factory in the inland Chinese city of Wuhan, symbolizing the inexorable pull of the huge Asian car market. Peugeot will eventually be able to produce 450,000 autos a year.
