Another Super Typhoon hits the Philippines

Last Month we are attacked by a very strong Typhoon, last night a new super typhoon reached the Philippine shore. Supertyphoon “Paeng” (international code name: Cimaron, meaning wild or unruly) had strengthened as it approached the Philippines. Packing sustained winds of 195 kilometers per hour with gusts of up to 230 kph, Paeng made landfall in the southern part of Isabela province at about 9 last night. Paeng, the 16th typhoon to hit the country this year, is stronger than “Milenyo” that devastated Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon last month. Milenyo (international code name: Xangsane) left more than 230 people dead and missing, and hundreds of thousands homeless.
